Udo Bartsch traveled to the tranquil town of Eppstein and visited Feuerland Spiele. And last but not least, of course, our team was in Hamburg and Berlin for the award ceremonies of the Spiele des Jahres 2022.

In this issue, we celebrate "30 years of 6 nimmt!" with Amigo Spiele. Readers can also look forward to the big report with the new products from the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg. Two book publications (‘Monopoly X’ by Philip B. Orbanes and ‘Das moderne Brettspiel’ by Tom Werneck) are worth mentioning in spielbox. What hardly anyone knew: Monopoly was used as an escape aid during the Second World War.
The publisher Board Game Box continues to develop and is breaking new ground with its own development ‘Calupum - Im Banne des Wolfes’.

The change at the top of spielbox has been almost inconspicuous. Stefan Ducksch (editor-in-chief) and Stephan Zerlik (layout) have given their all to ensure that readers are satisfied (please send feedback to redaktion@spielbox.de). We at the publishing house certainly are!
The visit to HABA was exciting, the employees are very confident and so we all look to the future with hope. Harald Schrapers met with the author of the As d'Or winner Yohan Goh at the Festival International des Jeux in Cannes and spielbox has already met with the founder of Salt & Pepper Games in Essen.
