For nearly 20 years, Ryan Laukat (who serves as illustrator, author, and head of Red Raven Games) has been enriching the gaming scene, while Dávid Turczi is currently arguably one of the most creative and prolific authors. That’s why spielbox is dedicating a few pages of this issue to both of them. Außerdem kommen der Kabarettist Claus von Wagner, der vielseitige Ralf zur Linde und die Spielefamilie Eller-Bilz (HeidelBär) zu Wort – und über alle gibt es spannende Geschichten zu erzählen.
In Italien spielen Brettspiele neben Fußball, Wein und gutem Essen eher eine Nebenrolle. Wir gehen der Frage nach, warum das so ist – schließlich gibt es dort durchaus einige Spieleautorinnen und -autoren.

Spielbox® attended the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg with a large team of authors to identify trends and news and try out some new products. These included some rather unusual game ideas. Music games are a new trend in the age of Hitster, and there are plenty of new releases this year. Sybille Whitehill interviewed author Elizabeth Hargrave (Wingspan), and Fabian Ziehe visited the Kosmos game editorial team in Stuttgart. The magazine also features 20 reviews.
