The change at the top of spielbox has been almost inconspicuous. Stefan Ducksch (editor-in-chief) and Stephan Zerlik (layout) have given their all to ensure that readers are satisfied (please send feedback to redaktion@spielbox.de). We at the publishing house certainly are!
The visit to HABA was exciting, the employees are very confident and so we all look to the future with hope. Harald Schrapers met with the author of the As d'Or winner Yohan Goh at the Festival International des Jeux in Cannes and spielbox has already met with the founder of Salt & Pepper Games in Essen.

Welcome to the first issue of spielbox in 2025! You can expect exciting content in this issue, such as a new system for board and video games (Teburu), an interview with Klaus Ottmaier from Pegasuspiele and a portrait of Biberstein Spiele.
We were in Nuremberg at the toy fair and have picked out a few games for you for the fair report.

The fact that State Secretary Michael Kellner from the Ministry of Economic Affairs visited SPIEL is a great sign; however, the fact that he played ‘MÄDN’ of all games is something that should not have happened at this trade fair.
